Faculty Faith Stories with Matt Knell is back! Matt, LST's Lecturer in Historical Theology and Church History, sits down with a different faculty member to ask about their spiritual journey, meeting the people behind their teaching at LST.
This week, Matt Knell speaks to Dan Forshaw, Lecturer in Music at LST, Jazz musician and LST alumni!
In this episode, Dan shares about his upbringing in a christian family, his wrestle with faith in his early and teenage years, his journey into the music industry and passion for jazz. Dan shares about finding God again, leading to a call from God to use his gifts in music to serve the Church when he lived and worked in New York. With his desire to serve God with music, Dan moved to London to study at London School of Theology, learning from and working alongside some brilliant musicians.

Matt, LST's Lecturer in Historical Theology and Church History, sits down with a different faculty member to ask about their spiritual journey, meeting the people behind their teaching at LST.
This week, Matt Knell speaks to Julie Mckee, PhD student at LST and also a visiting lecturer for the Theology and Worship Studies programme, teaching on Music, Philosophy and God. Julie's PhD research is focussing on Theological Aesthetics, the relation of song to the heavenly realm.
In this episode, Julie shares about her life growing up, experiences that challenged her Christian faith and the journey behind her deepening interest in finding 'home' with God in music.

This week, Matt Knell speaks to Andy Bannister, Director of Solas, evangelist, speaker, writer, and broadcaster. From universities to churches, cafes to pubs, schools to workplaces, Andy regularly addresses audiences of both Christians and those of all faiths and none on issues relating to faith, culture, politics and society.

Andy is an LST alumni. In this episode, Andy shares about his faith, vocational journey, his work in the health service, youth ministry and his work with Solas, fuelled by his passion for sharing the good news of Jesus through practical evangelism.
